The story

Built from depression, neuroscience, and a creative brain.

Eduard Klein

I'm Eduard Klein. I have ADHD.

In 2019 I went through a deep, severe depression. The kind that doesn't lift on its own — the kind that asks you to rebuild from the foundation.

I fought my way back through neuroscience and bibliotherapy. I read, I listened, I experimented on myself. I learned from Andrew Huberman, Bessel van der Kolk, Peter Levine, Gabor Maté, Lisa Feldman Barrett, Matthew Lieberman (The Social Brain), Robert Sapolsky, and many other leading scientists working at the edge of how the brain heals.

Beyond them: 100+ books, hundreds of articles, my own research and writing, and a daily meditation and mindfulness practice. The work didn't come from a single source. It came from sitting with all of it — and with myself — for years.

My brain is highly creative. I'm a software engineer, an audiovisual artist, and a music composer and producer — and at some point those halves started talking to each other. Years of working with sound, light, rhythm, and image taught me how the brain processes them — which frequencies pull attention, which patterns release tension, which stimuli the nervous system actually responds to and which it tunes out. I began to see how the science fits together with the practice, and how a tool, built right, can do real work on the nervous system.

That's where these six apps came from. EMDR for trauma and emotional release. ADHD & Focus — a sensory dose that runs alongside your work when the dopamine isn't coming on its own. Eye Training as a screen-work reset and counter to age-related vision decline. Anger Control — a simple A→O singing exercise that releases the jaw and pulls you out of fight-mode. Breathing — 6 BPM resonance breathing, also called Buddha Breath, the cleanest way I know to train HRV and tone the vagus nerve. Shoulder Relax — pandiculation for the neck and traps that everyone hunches up at a screen. I built them from my own understanding of the brain — and I'm offering them freely to the world and to science.

I've built these tools to the best of my knowledge and conscience, drawing on the findings of leading neuroscientists. I haven't invented anything entirely new — tools like these already exist. What's new is that they're free, that they run in the browser, anywhere, that — in my view — they're more complete than the ones I've seen so far, and that for me personally they work better.

I'm also in the process of making the tools available to scientists, to gather more data through studies and make the tools even better over time.

A lot of the apps and videos out there feel incomplete to me. They miss the underlying mechanism — they hit one part and skip the rest. I built these the way I'd want them built: complete, not flashy, and shaped by what the science actually says.
